Support Groups

Peer support groups give people with the same or a similar condition the chance to connect with each other to share practical information, ideas and personal experiences. They can be especially helpful if you are newly diagnosed as they can help you to feel less isolated and to learn more about living with your condition.

Support groups can be quite varied in structure and format.  They may be formal or informal, held face-to-face or online, or they may be condition-specific, age-specific or location-based.

To find out more about support groups that you might like to join, call our toll free Arthritis Infoline on 1800 011 041 or contact your local arthritis office directly.
