Arthritis Australia thanks you for visiting www.mypsoriaticarthritis.org.au. Arthritis Australia respects and is committed to taking all reasonable measures to ensure your privacy. Standard user statistics such as hits, pages viewed, etc. are collected when you log on but, for example, your email address is not sourced or stored during this process.

Personal information voluntarily submitted – e.g. when signing up for the newsletter, making a donation or volunteering – is not and never will be disclosed to any third party without your express permission. Data, which does not disclose personal details you agree to provide, is compiled and used to help improve this website and guide Arthritis Australia policies and support services.

Website link requests to Arthritis Australia undergo an assessment process where an organisation is required to demonstrate that it provides a specific service to people living with arthritis, and receives a high volume of requests about arthritis. Arthritis Australia lists selected consumer groups and government organisations in the ‘Resource links’ section of its website. Arthritis Australia does not provide links to ‘For Profit’ companies providing health information.

Arthritis Australia performs due diligence on any organisation requesting a website link to ensure that it meets all of its required standards. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that:

  • Health information provided on the website meets NHMRC guidelines.
  • The organisation is the peak and/or government body representing consumers for a medical condition.
  • The website has direct relevance to people living with arthritis.
